Ingredients
- 10 large firm baking apples, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1 bag (12 oz.) whole fresh cranberries
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 12 hours. Stir several times during cooking process. Place in sterilized jars. Refrigerate for up to 2 weeks or process in a traditional canning process. The fruit butter can also be stored in freezer containers for up to 3 months.
