- 1 cup fresh or frozen whole cranberries
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp water
- 2 pieces of orange peel
- 3 cups of your favorite vodka
Instructions
In a saucepot, place cranberries, sugar, water and orange peel. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes or until cranberries begin to pop open. Cool mixture. for 30 minutes. Place cranberries along with accumulated liquid and orange peel into a glass jar or bottle. Add vodka. Cover and store at room temperature for one week or up to one month.
