Edible Door Launching Local Hero Award

Here’s your opportunity to recognize the hard work your favorite food and farming organization or business have put into championing farm fresh, locally-produced food, sustainability and regenerative agricultural practices in the Northeastern Wisconsin area.

Beginning with the Summer issue of Edible Door, we are joining with a number of other Edible brands across North America that have been recognizing those who are making a difference on the local food scene.

The process for selecting Edible Door’s Local Hero Award begins with you. Nominations are now being taken with a panel to make the final selection. The fact that the nomination comes from you, our readers, makes this award all the more meaningful to the recipients. Please email your nominations to info@edibledoor.com with some background information for why you think the nominee is worthy of the award.

There will be more than one Local Hero Award winner announced each year so don’t hesitate to nominate a person, organization or business at any time throughout the year. The winner will be honored with a plaque and a feature story in the magazine. Any Northeastern Wisconsin individual, organization or business directly impacting the local fresh food scene is eligible.
